The Klamath-Siskiyou Art Center is a 501(c)3 non profit incorporated in 2006 to build a community gathering, performance, lecture, exhibition and art studio space for residents and visitors to enjoy the arts and cultural events.
In 2012, The Klamath-Siskiyou Art Center purchased a town center property on the corner of HWY 96 and Davis Road. Since buying the property, the Art Center has been working to improve the existing buildings to make them better suited for our activities and events.
In the past few years, we have been awarded several grants to assist with Phase 1 of this building Improvement Project. Including a grant from the Shasta Regional Foundation in 2019 to create and install a 10 by 22 Ft aluminum photographic mural and a generous grant from the Jewish Community Federation Donor Advised Fund to assist with replacing the old garage door, pouring and finishing a new concrete floor, insulating and resurfacing the buildings walls and ceiling, and installing a beautiful new wood stove.
The Klamath-Siskiyou Art Center plays a vital role in the health and identity of the Mid Klamath River.
For many residents and visitors, our events and activities are a key part of their social interactions and entertainment.
In the last 4 years, our summer outdoor Art and Music series has expanded to reach an even broader group of people. Our highly visible outdoor space has also become a valuable location to host the local Farmers Market every Thursday in the late summer.
